For many years we have intended to replace our conventional windows with double glazing throughout our 2-storey house. We contacted Michael of Neate Windows for a quote, which we accepted.
Michael and his team installed 28 panes (some average size and 5 large) with minimum fuss; quick, efficient, skilled workers had us converted in 2 days. The work included 4 doors and 10 Awning Sash windows and fixed panes all finished in Red Cedar; the system installed stops drafts and is very efficient. We get very cold weather, and 2 days after completion we had a minus -1 degree in the morning and believe it or 11ot the temperature in the house was 14 degrees! Previously it would have been 4-5 degrees with beaters running; we didn’t even tum the heaters on!
We are looking forward to winter with some 1nornings minus -6 -7 -8 degrees and even colder, using less fuel overall; we are sure we won’t suffer the effects that creep in as we get older like freezing! Other benefits are the muffling qualities of the system, a very noticeable effect, a lot less wind noise and road noise an overall quieter effect. Thanks to Michael and his team for a job well done
